Born and raised in the small town of Central City, Kentucky, both Dr. Justin Mitchell and his wife Dr. Amanda Mitchell relocated to Lakewood Ranch, FL in 2012 to not only further their chiropractic careers, but to also find a place to call "home". They are very active in the community and love getting involved and helping others. Their passion for chiropractic goes beyond helping patients find comfort and pain relief, its also about getting to know their patients on a personal level and establishing a friendship.
Dr. Amanda MitchellAmanda achieved a Bachelor of Science in May 2006 from Brescia University in Owensboro, KY with a major in biology. Her drive and determination helped her to graduate at the top of her class with a summa cum laude honor. In addition to her education, Amanda´s strive for excellence continued into sports and helped her receive a 4 year softball scholorship. Following college, she then continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in Port Orange where she received a Doctorate of Chiropractic in December 2009.
Amanda´s love for helping patients continues into her personal life. Aside from chiropractic, she has volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of St. Petersburg, became a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and helped serve food at the St. Vincent De Paul Food Shelter. But one of the most life changing experiences she has ever encountered involved her going on a medical mission trip to Haiti in July 2011 with a group called People For Haiti. The group helped over a thousand haitians receive medical care as well as supply communities with everyday necessities. But the proudest moment in her life didn´t involve going places or receiving awards, it was becoming a mother to their two sons. "Spending time with family is top priority!"
